Meet the people behind Centyfield

Sue Baines

Sue Baines

Sue Baines owner and head gardener!

Sue danced professionally and taught dancing (Strictly style!) until she was 25 when she stopped and started to learn to ride. At weekends she started to ride at Barry and Sarah’s yard in Windsor and fell in love with a horse she called Dancer. She has had horses with Barry and Sarah for 23 years.

When not dancing or riding, Sue worked in Finance in London but finally moved down to Devon in 2015 to pursue her passion for horses and moved permanently ‘from suit to jodhpurs’. She has created a yard with Barry and Sarah that allows people who love their horses but don’t necessarily have loads of time, to still get out and compete and be able to achieve their goals.
